EC(2022-23)19Proposed creation of seven permanent non-civil service positions/civil service posts of one D4-equivalent non-civil service position/Administrative Officer Staff Grade B1 (D4), two D3-equivalent non-civil service position/Administrative Officer Staff Grade B (D3) and four D2/DL2-equivalent non-civil service position/Administrative Officer Staff Grade C/Principal Economist/Government Engineer/Deputy Principal Government Counsel/Government Town Planner (D2/DL2) in the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit, to be offset by the deletion of seven permanent civil service posts of equivalent ranking with immediate effect upon approval of the Finance Committee to enhance the Government’s capabilities in research and advocacy on long-term and strategic issues and to report to the Chief Executive outcomes of the related studies and analyses
